Winterization of your property to prevent freeze damage requires thorough air-drying of the entire plumbing system. Water left in a supply line or holding tank can freeze causing the pipe or tank to burst. Once the ice melts - what you have is water! Water is a prime cause of mold. In other words - if a property is not thoroughly winterized not only will your property require plumbing repairs - it will require mold remediation!
Eagle Inspections is dedicated to winterizing your asset to preserve the plumbing system and help prevent mold issues.

Ample environmentally safe anti-freeze is added to all drains and traps. In Michigan, it is important that sufficient anti-freeze be added to withstand the freezing temperatures experienced in this Great Lakes Region.

Many properties have sump-pumps which help keep the property from flooding. Electricity is required to operate the sump pump. Eagle Inspections does offer sump pump replacement services when a faulty sump pump is discovered.

Above is a well pump. Well water supply systems are common in Michigan.

Disconnecting the well pump prevents accidental water entry into the vacant property.

Whether city or well pump supplied water system - the system must be air-dried to purge the water from the plumbing system.

If the system is not air-dried - it will freeze.

All services are provided according to HUD or VA guidelines.
